This is a set of 10 seeds from Hangjiao Space Pepper #9 - Big Bang. These peppers live up to the name, they are BIG! Nice mild heat and a flavor that doesn't overpower with sweet, bitter or tart. Easy to enjoy raw, on a salad, or cooked on the grill for a few minutes with a steak or kebab!

Hangjiao peppers have an incredible story that involves China sending seeds to space to expose them to space radiation in the hopes of speeding mutations for bigger yields, higher vitamin C content, and faster growing. 
I went on a quest starting in 2019 to find seeds for all 10 varieties and to grow them all in the winter and spring of 2021 in my indoor pepper garden. I had to source seeds from all over the world to make this possible but now that I have grown all 10 varieties and harvested seeds I am excited to make them available to pepper lovers to grow on their own!
